EDJ needs a very powerful audio hardware and driver to handle the minimun of audio latency when mixing. Unfortunately,
Android has a audio latency issue not fix for years which blocks professionnal software to be released. for more information read this :

You must have the latest version of IOS to run EDJ, otherwise you can experience a lot of problems that the developer cannot detect for you. Apple prevent developer to test or debug their apps in older iOS version. So you have to get your devise upgraded with the latest version all the times.

Just uninstall E-DJ from your iPad and reinstall it. It will remove the old files that block the application to start. If E-DJ still doesn't start, please contact us.

The first time, you have to go to the setting screen and select the "Always" option in the "Silence" part. Then, each time you need it, you just have to activate the "Do Not Disturb" mode of the iPad (the moon icon that appears when you slip your finger from the the bottom of your iPad).

That happens when your iTunes is desynchronized with your device. It is an IOS bug, iTunes thinks that your tracks are removed from your iPad but they are still in cache. The only way to recover your music collection is to remove all of your music from your iPad with the setting menu (Setting/General/Usage/Manage Storage/Music/Edit/Delete). After that you can reimport your music from iTunes.

E-DJ is based on apple specification (mp3, aif, m4u, wav).

Some devices like iPad 2 or iPad mini first gen, still can run IOS 8 but are not optimized for it. The track processing is slower on these devices than on all others iPad because they only have 256 Megabytes of memory. To avoid that inconvenient, close all of the app running in the background, it will help the app running faster. I personally use two iPads mini first gen to mix and they perfectly do the job!.
